A giant blow heater that runs on oil. Nightmare to run, expensive to fill but takes the edge off the cold.

Probably the best bet is to come up with some sort of Muay Thai Onesy

I agree, the fumes, noise and running costs of a blower are not worth the hassle.

We have a 2500sq Ft gym with infra red heaters - these do not heat the air but heat the people, just like some smoking areas ( the things like sun beds)

we have trained when it was minus 8 outside the gym and were fine, the air still cuts your breathe but can't have everything lol

    hope this helps

When we took over our gym there was a oil blower in there. It's a noisy bast@rd but that doesn't bother us so much.

It would be nice to have something quieter though.

I personally deal with the cold by wearing numerous layers (including socks and gloves sometimes) and taking them off layer by layer until i am sufficiently warm to train in normal mma gear, which is usually only the last 20 mins of a class

A gas fired radient heater would be best imo
