Most mens outfitters sell them. I know Fajitas picked up one lately. Check M&S, Clearys or Arnotts. Pricier and better quality are available if the ones there don't meet your requirements.
The belt on them serves two purposes, first to cinch in the waist giving the shapless mack a shape.
The other more mundane reason is that it traps a layer of warm air around your torso keeping you warm.
Trust me, when a January wind blows up yer Mack you'll be glad of the belt.I'm older than Minecraft goats.
