Hey every1! Im new to this and just looking for some advice! Ive been wanting braces for years but find them very expensive. Heard about the 6 months invisalign braces and im thinking wow and have been quoted 2,500 for a full set which is brill but the only problem is I will have to travel to limerick every 3 weeks. I live in portlaoise and work in kildare does any1 know any orthodontists that are doin invisalign for that price in the lenister region?? Also wondering is it possible to get braces just on your front teeth? And if so how much would they cost roughly?? Thanks in advance!

    hi ishybaby

that price seems very low if you are getting upper and lower Invisalign, it would not cover the cost of the lab fees. I dont think an orthodontist is providing the treatment for €2500, it is probably not a specialist orthodontist. So check this out before you start

You cannot get braces on just the front teeth unless it is for a very minor problem eg, a few millimetres of crowding and it would probably cost the same as the full mouth treatment

Check specific qualifications, some Invisalign practitioners are general dentists who've been on a weekend course, as opposed to a specialist orthodontist who has 3 years postgraduate knowledge& training.

My sister got a quote, similar enough to that and found out that it was a dentist rather than orthodontist. If the straightening was even a little bit off it would not be money well spent.
