    Basically here's the story,

I am training to be a Primary teaching but am doing so in the UK. My current Irish that i have is slowely going down hill over the duration of the course. I would love to become fluent in my native language and even maybe at some point be able to teach in a Gaelscoil. I know they're are lots of adult course around the country but I think I would love to do as Des bishop did in the name of the fada, and move to the Gaeltacht for a year or around that.

does anybody know anyway this can happen or any suggestions.

many thanks anyone who reads this.

If you have money, you could head off for the year, I was asking if you wanted to stay with a family as it might be better than renting and not having people to talk Irish to.

do you live in the Gaeltacht yourself? yeah I'd be happy to do that you'd also pick up the language quicker aswell.. Like is there a company or anywhere that does this do you know?

No, am in the east of the country. Gael linn used to organise family stays years back don't know if they still do it,but they'd probably be able to give you some info.
