For as long as I can remember I have wanted a pair of two tone brogues but never spotted them anywhere. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a pair in Dublin? Specifically looking for black and white ones. Cheers.

They are very rare in the shops. I've never seen a good pair for sale in Dublin tbh. You'll have better luck trying online. I know Dr.Martians are doing some if you are looking for a bit of a younger look to them.

They go by a variety of names. The real name is Spectator shoes though as you say they are often called two-tones and frequently they are mistakenly called spats.

My personal favourites were a pair of all black shoes but the vamp (the 'arch') leather was made of calf leather and the rest of the shoe was patent. The two textures were different enough to show wonderfully. Sadly they only had them in a size 8. :(

If you do find an outlet I'd appreciate a heads up.

I want them too. but for a girl. I suppose my feet are size 7 so maybe boy ones would do too :pac:

Much easier to find for women. Saw a lovely pair of cream and black flats in Debenhams a couple of months ago. Very tomboyish.
There are plenty of high heel versions knocking around.

Yeah this seems to be the case alright. It seems to be much easier to get womens ones. Found these on Asos. Not exactly what I am looking for but they wouldnt break the bank anyway.

Sinead these look like a good choice for the ladies.

    Will keep looking.

Not too fond of the white soles on those. I'm too much a traditionalist and want leather soles.

cool, thanks. I might check out the ones in debenhams. I want the ones that are kind of rigid. I saw a pair a while ago and they were all soft and crappy

and yeah it's the flat ones I'm after. I have enough height as it is and the flat ones look nicer anyway
