    HI all
I've heard about a water shortage in galway city but thought it was confided to the west of the city? however yesterday evening ( in the morning it was fine) the water pressure dropped off . more so in the hot taps then the cold but still it is less in the hot tap. also the washing machine isnt pumping any water in,

anyone else have similar problems or what could it be?

    cheers

    Jonny

Ring the council, could be people working on the water lines?

I would have thought your hot water would be independent of the council water, most likely coming from your attic.

Most washing machines take hot water as well as cold, so if your cold tap is ok then I would assume the washing machine should work. Is it just the cold tap in the kitchen is ok? usually the cold taps in the bathrooms come from the same storage tank that supplies the hot water system and the kitchen is direct from the mains.

Haven't noticed any pressure drop in the Terryland area.

well think ive it narrowed down to the water pump not working

do i get a sparky or a plumer to look at this ?

or any ideas why it aint working?

It's because you kicked when you got home drunk last night :)

Only messing, but if you need advice I can move this to a forum where they can help you better with the pump.
