Dump/Recycle dump near Maynooth

    Hi

    Im in maynooth and need to get rid of a few bits, like a broken old tv, some old electronics that dont work, etc.

    Wheres the closest recycling place I can dump that kind of stuff?

    There are electronics collection days occasionally in Maynooth where you can get rid of that stuff free. Not sure when the next one is though.

    If you bought new electronics the shop must take back the old ones (like for like only - e.g. tv for tv).

    Otherwise your best option is Silliot Hill on the Newbridge/Kilcullen road. You'll have to pay if you go to dump there.

    [edit]oh - "The only exception will be vehicles that are carrying electrical goods only as there can be no charge on these items". So free there too :)

    Dunboyne have Wee recycling. Think its 2 euro to get in the gate. Google it for contact number.

    From Maynooth, go straight through traffic lights (when green) about 600 metres on your left is the industrial estate. It's down the back of it. Thorntons.
