    AFAIK it's the penultimate episode!

He is already dead. Died in the last season, the following episodes were the aftermath. Very sad. I liked Phil.

Did anyone catch it last night?
Dramatic ending to say the least with Jake Harris telling his Dad he’s an addict. He whispered heroin as far as I know.

Very dramatic episode with both jake's going through problems.
It looks from the trailer that next week is when Phil has the stroke. I reckon myself and the girlfriend will be in tears watchin it as we have followed ever season and phil and the cornellia marie were always our favourate followed a close second by sig and the northwestern.

From watching all the other seasons it seems like phil knew he would die early and mentioned mortality and his bad health it in every other season.
He was so close to his sons that it must have been really though on them, especially with jake admitting he's an addict.

    RIP Phil

Yeah I’ve watched it from the start as well. Phil is a legend of a man, hopefully his two sons do him proud.

Well, crying is a bit much tbh.

While crying may be a bit much it was sad, with everything going on, you felt for jake and how he must have being feeling.

The look of desperation on all of the crew you even see one of the camera men on deck panicing when he was found.

Its watching the death of a TV legend.

Next week i may be teary eyed alright!

Wife and I have just watched ahead for s few episode. She's a recent convert and I can tell you the next few episodes on Discovery are very upsetting.

Unbelievable programming with unbelievable crew members.

Gutted about the other 3 guys leaving as well.

Last nights episode was about the other boats learning about his death, and each boat did there own memorial for phil. Time Bandit set of fireworks and flares. Wizard sank a pot full of crab in he's memory. And the Northwesteren sounded there horn as passing the Cornelia Marie. After the show there was a tribute show to the Life of Phil Harris.

I thought Phils passing was filmed very well. I thought it was a very emotional episode. It was hard to see such tough hard working men visibly upset.

Goes to show that even though there competing against each other for a living they were the best of friends.
