Solar roof tiles

    Anyone have any experience with solar roof tiles/slates? (Not panels)..

    Any significant disadvantages/advantages?

    How do they fare out in terms of cost?

    I have no experience with roof slates or tiles but I went about getting as much info as I could about panels and found them very cost prohibitive.

    Because slates/tiles would be even more of a 'specailist' install etc.. I can only imagine that this would make them even more cost prohibitive again...
