    Hi,
Just wondering is there anyone here involved in wind turbine maintenance? Basically its something I would like to look into, Im a qualified aircraft maintenance technician, with 15 months experience working in mechanics and electrics.
I've a degree in computer systems (completely unrelated I know) , but just wondering would I be on the right track at all or is a renewable energy course a must have these days?

Hi, I know this thread is really old but how and ever. LYIT in donegal do the Wind Energy Technician course. If you have an electrician or engineering background there is a 1 year course or if like me you have no background at all in the mentioned professions there is a 2 year course. lyit.ie is their website. My wife is studying in killybegs at the moment and she thinks the Wind Energy course is held there not in letterkenny but sure take a look at the course anyway. :)

I know its short notice but if you can make it to Naas at 9.30 in the morning this is exactly where you what to go to find out. Its free for unemployed and Im told there are still some spots available and Im sure there would be no hassle in just showing up.
