    Final classic of the year.

Rewilding is 6/4 favourite. Think its hard to support him at such a price. Snow Fairy and Midas Touch are available at 7/1.

However my choice would have to be Joshua Tree. Currently available at 7/1. Has alot going for him.

Only 1 run so far this year so alot fresher than the rest of those at the head of the maket. Will surely have come on for his run in the Great Voltigeur. O'Brien didnt think he would do alot before the race so his 3rd place finish has to have been a very good result. Won the Royal Lodge last year so stamina shouldn't be an issue.

Agree Rewilding is to short. Doubts over Snow Fairy running she was my fancy. Joshua Tree looks value at 8/1 though he is still in the Irish Leger at 14/1 so will prob wait till closer to the day to make my selection. !

O'Brien has said that Joshua Tree and Midas Touch are set for Doncaster. Read it in the RP on Monday (Quote)

I've backed Midas Touch ante-post so wont be backing anything else now. Rewilding looks the one to beat though a very short price.

I reckon Midas Touch is excellent e/w value at around the 13/2, 7/1 mark.
I'd like to see him well held up off a nice true gallop and hopefully his stamina will kick in in the last 2 furlongs. I think he's being ridden too prominently in the Derby's and at York

From watching Midas Touch's races it looks like Ballydoyle dont think he has acceleration at Grp 1 level.

Maybe the only way he can win is to be ridden prominently and try ground down the opposition.
