looks a tidy player. i was especially impressed with his long passing.very silky.very good offloader ,my only criticism is he doesnt need to go for the miracle ball all the time.sometimes(not often) its ok to die with the ball rather then turn it over trying something high risk.will be on the end of year tour no doubt

He has phenomenal potential, i'll say that.

I reckon he has the potential to be better than O'Driscoll, handling skills are already the best in the world, amazing player. Can't wait to see him at the World Cup

He's still young enough to make a big name for himself in Union if he keeps his head right. The bloody turncoat. :pac:

The way that the NZ centres are playing, I don't know that he will even make it into the first 15 for the World Cup. He will probably be in the squad mind you.

I'd like to see him play more of an 80 minute game week in week out. Had a tendency to drift in and out of games in league. Can't say I've seen much of him in union so I don't know if thats still the case.

If he can get that offload in the tackle working properly, he'll be awesome. More awesome lol

He is also 6ft 4in and 17stone and a professional boxer in the off season.

He's a beast. 17 stone and not a bit of fat on him he's far bigger then Nonu and isn't as wide as him either. He is a monster talent just look at how bad Toloun are struggling at the moment without him. Great hands and strength plus a good tackle will see him go far barring injury. Scary thing is that he's only 24.

He'll be a danger in the RWC (somebody here suggested he'd never make the NZ squad by then but I'm positive he will).
    He's 25 by the way.

Would be very hard to displace Nonu or Smith, by a mile the best centre combination in the world.

I just don't understand the overhype around this guy.

    He is good.
He is not anything like the amazing revolutionary devastating super power he is being made out to be.

Wouldn't be a bad impact sub to replace either though. Chances are himself and Fruean will be playing against us come the AI now that is scary! If both can prove themselves at international level then surely NZ will have the two best midfield combinations in the world which is a incredible resource to have.

Holy ****! What an absolute athlete! Cant wait to see this guy in the S14 and the All Blacks, any opinions on what his best position is? Could Conrad Smith be dropped or is he a 12?

Prefer him at 12 where his ball handling skills are a bigger threat especially when you have a 13 that can run lines of him like Fruean did it's pretty unstoppable. Can imagine himself and Fruean playing us in Novemeber which is f*cking scary.
