So basically I got a form from the CC that I needed to get signed by the college to say I was a student, so I got it signed and gave it to the CC yesterday. So I am receiving a grant for certain and that was the final thing I had to do for it so any idea when I'll get the first payment? The have my bank details already as I am a second year student. (My CC is Fingal County Council by the way)

Second question. I need to get a student travel card. I heard you can get them in the Trinity SU. Does anyone have an idea on what times they do the student travel cards?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

    1) Hopefully in October, but councils can be very slow with these type of things.

    2) Details on the Student Travelcard in Trinity is here: http://www.tcdsu.org/?s=1&p=22

From memory they are usually open until 5pm, can't remember when they open though.

Expect the grant payment before christmas - all county councils pay at differing times and its impossible to guess when to expect it

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Probably a stupid question but you don't need to me a student at trinity to avail of this service?

No, you just need to show A student card, it's not just for students in Trinity.
