EDIT: Nevermind... I see it now... says it on the signing form. Thanks OP

probably an easier way to do this but this is what worked for me -

type address in notepad & copy to clipboard

on page looking for address click on paragraph above address field; then hit tab to go into address field & ctrl+v to paste address into it

    Awesome!

Didn't even know there was such a thing as a book light, how might one of them work exactly?

Where's the page for putting in your address?
    This website is a nightmare.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,814 ✭✭✭TPD

It didn't accept my hotmail the first time, when I accidentally used a capital letter after the @. I wouldn't think that would affect things, but it went through fine the second time in lowercase.

After you register your name and email address etc to join the bookclub it automatically generates another page that asks you for your address and phone number if you want the free booklight. Easy pesy and all done in seconds. This has got to be one of the best freebie offers ever! And all so simply done in seconds!!

Got mine today. I'm using mine on my Kindle, have to say it's ****. The light is totally uneven and it wobbles all the time. But it's free I suppose..

OT, but why would you need a light with a kindle?

Got mine this morning too. It came with batteries and has a relatively bright light. Nice freebie.

Light only wobbles if you keep moving it

suppose it might be like a laptop, you don't need a light, but it wrecks your eyes looking at it in the dark

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,430 ✭✭✭positron

OT, but why would you need a light with a kindle?

AFAIK, kindle has no backlighting and you need light to read it - just like a book! :)

A bit wobbly but hey, its a freebie..

No sign of mine yet, but i do live in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle.

OT, but why would you need a light with a kindle?

The Kindle has no backlight as it's an eInk screen. It's one of the benefits of it, there's no backlight like in an iPad so it's much easier on the eyes and only uses power when the screen refreshes..

so that he can tell everyone he has a kindle

I'd hardly call the Kindle something to go around bragging out.
