    Moving this to Terrestrial because of your aerial question, though I rather think it probably is better suited to one of the Home Entertainment forums.

    It will work with an aerial (you wont get a picture in Ireland though)

    it has a freeview tuner witch is not compatible with irish dtt

    The long and the short of it is the irish version of freeview (Saorview) will never work on that telly. Only standard analogue will.

    It doesn't say in the specifications but I found a review which mentions that the analogue tuner is not good meaning there is one so it will work in Ireland. Only the digital part of the telly won't work.

    It will probably work like any other telly might work if you plug an internal aerial in. I've found that cheap flatscreen TVs are not so good at picking up the 4 irish stations from an aerial.

    We can't say if an internal aerial will work unless we have an idea of what part of the country the telly will be used in.
