    Hi All,

I have a part-time job opportunity come up for 2days a week however Im currently living in Galway and the job is in Dublin....

Does anyone know or been in the same situation if the social welfare will have a problem with me taking this job but still residing in Galway?

I have a flat here and my boyfriends just moved in and cant exactly afford to move back to Dublin on my own especially with only working 2 days a week, I would have somewhere to stay for the few nights I would have to be in Dublin but thats it....

    Any info would be great!

I haven't been in this situation but I can't see SW having any problem with it. Obviously, you'd be reassessed and moved to a casual payment. You would lose a certain amount for every day you work.
