That barbell glute bridge excercise looks useful but I don't think I could bring myself to perform it front of everyone for fear of being politely informed "this is a family gym, sir" or something like that.

Look for psoas stretching exercises also. Major cause of glute dysfunction (in me for example). Dormant glutes have been giving me probs over the years and only now am I tackling this as the cause.

I'm just after writing about what I'm doing about it in my blog below if you want to read it. I'm finding the EQI squat/lunge to be really effective.

I'm not sure if this sounds odd or not but my left glute feels like its much more active during a lot of exercises. Even just tensing the muscle I can feel my left glute tenses much more then the right. I use my right foot during anything involving kicking so I always thought my right should be more developed, does anybody have any insight to this and how I could correct it?

The only thought I have is that when I tore some tendons just above my left knee and twisted some cartilage last year that maybe I recruited the glute to take over from other parts of the leg when just moving in day to day activities and this caused it to become more active? Does this make sense to anyone?

    Thanks
