Hi I have a few questions about rolling forward the year end on sage...

I have rolled forward the year end, but when i go onto the corrections section, all the transactions from the previous year are still showing...

similiarly when i look at the nominal section, I still see all the transactions from the prior year..

Can anyone tell me should this be the case.. and if so is there any way of removing the previous year transactions from the nominals and corrections section.

    Kind Regards

Running a year end will not make the transactions from that year disappear - it creates journals that clear down the figures from your profit and loss nominal codes and puts them into retained earnings nominal accounts instead.
When you run a year end those transactions should still be there - they are necessary for data integrity and for reporting.

    Hi Ireland83

You can totally remove all transactions or you can remove all fully paid and reconciled transactions if you want.

don't do anything without a backup though
