Panic! Sun holiday in 7 days, no clothes!

I've booked a last minute holiday to Lanzarote and I'm off next week. I've been scouring the shops in town (Limerick city) and online websites for summer clothes in clearance sections and I've had very little luck - because of course all the AW10 stuff is in and the best summer clothes are long gone. No one's fault but my own, but I didn't know I was going until a fortnight ago! I've picked up a few sun dresses trying to find a nice bikini and nice shorts but not having much luck. If anyone has any tips on where to find any of these items I will actually bring you on hols with me! I'm short and a size 10, so I'm trying to find medium length shorts, and - anything to long looks silly and I'm nervous of wearing anything to short, as for bikinis I'm happy to try anything, but preferably one that covers my backside a bit!

Accesorize in the airport have bikinis, flipflops, beach dresses, sunglasses etc., though theyre not that cheap. they do have SOME stuff on sale, but not loads. Accesorize on grafton st had a good selection of sale flipflops about 2 weeks ago but havent been in since.

Other than that M&S seems to be the only store i can ever find with holiday stuff later in the year and thats only limited stores. last year i was searching in october and the only place i could find swimwear etc was M&S on henry st (mary st?)

I'm pretty sure that Debenhams still have their summer stock in the sales section. (most would be 70% off too) Not sure there's a Debenhams in Limerick though

I used the bikini shop last year for my last minute holiday panic - they do separate top and bottom sizes which is a big plus for me Theyre Irish too

Thanks everyone, I'm gonna check out Debenhams (we've got one in Lim, unfortuantely we are still M&S-less!) and a few other shops. So far I've picked up a few things so hopefully I'll be grand!

I wouldn't be too worried if I were you. You will be able to get plenty of summer clothes over there for very little.

Have a look in H&M in the Crescent Patsy. They usually hang onto their sale stuff for ages. You might get a bargain!
