    Hi,

I am asking this on behalf of a friend.

He was been working in a factory for 6 years full time paying PRSI etc, today he was told he would be working a 3 day week from monday that will last 6-8 weeks, possibly shorter. And then maybe back to 5 day but he doesn't know what will happen then..

    1) Can he claim for days he's not working, then return to full time work, then claim if reduced again??

    2) Will he qualify for JSB or JSA?

    3)What forms does he need?

    Thanks for any help

    1. Yes he can claim as long as he is not working more than 3 days p/w

    2. He will qualify for JSB

    3. He will need to get a form from the SW office then get his employer to fill it out
