Danny Dyer's "A Geezer in Gaza"

I heard that Danny Dyer is about to star in a documentary where he visits the Gaza strip. I'm not so sure as to where it's going to be screened though, probably Sky1 or Channel 4 if true.

Has anyone heard anything about this?

Could be interesting, how many people instantly wrote off Ross Kemp when he started making documentaries as just another failing soap star looking to extend his 15 minutes. Kemp turned out to be one of the fairest and most interesting documentary film makers around and while Dyer lacks Kemps composure and balls (not many other film makers would repeatedly enter into some of the most dangerous situations imaginable and never so much as complain once) this could be an interesting project.

Politicians have been trying to solve the middle east issue for years and failed miserably. Maybe trying a different approach might work. Not saying Danny Dyer is the solution but tbh, it's worth a shot.

Know some people working in the business and mentioned he was doing a documentary abroad recently. Didn't think it was going to be this though.:mad: It's a disgrace, quite disrespectful to lives lost in the conflict and I've a mind to write to Sky and complain about it.

It can't be Football365 as it's owned by Sky now.

I don't mind Dyer at all, he's very good at what he does and has turned in some very memorable performances, the Business and Severance being two great films in which he shines. The tough man image he works so hard on is obviously nothing more than a show, watching him fear for his life in his Deadliest Men series was rather funny but at the same time you have to give him his dues, he's one of the few documentary makers whose actually gone after these gangs looking for the inside story even if he is the bargain basement Ross Kemp.

What I find saddest about all this is that no matter what a twat he acts at times, he's a far more capable and intelligent interviewer than our Charlie Bird who with unparalleled access to some of the most infamous figures in America of the past decade turned in one of the worst pieces of television I have ever seen.
