Three - Facetime issue with ported number

    Hi all,

    I recently moved to three. I'm posting here because their support is less than useless.
    I've had a problem with people contacting me on facetime since i got the phone.
    My girlfriend recently moved to three also and got an iphone and i have trouble trying to connect to her with facetime.
    If i initiate the call i can connect to other people but they can't call me.

    Anyway to cut a long story short, i've tracked the problem back to the fact that i ported my non-083 number to Three.

    If i get someone call the original 083 number of my Three sim card they can get through to me with facetime. If the call my regular number they can't.
    I tried the same thing with my girlfriends phone and had the exact same results.

    Has anyone else had this issue? Or even better know a fix??

    Sorry if this is a stupid suggestion, but I always for for the obvious first - Under settings/phone is your proper phone number in there, or the 3 number?

    Reset network settings and see does it help. The port must be complete though if both numbers can be called

    From my understanding of Porting you should not be able to call your old 083 once your Meteor number has ported into Three.

    simply go to settings - phone and toggle facetime on/off a few times. make sure your old number is in the my number box. Wait for activation and away you go.
