my 500th post, hello third star!

    So, it's a big boards day for me, 8 years a member on and off. I've never been a big poster, I've had an awesome average of 0.17 posts a day. But it's finally arrived, post number 500. Time for me to step up to the podium and accept with pride, humilty and dignity my 3rd star.

    I'd like to thank the little people (everyone with one or two stars, unlike me who has three) I'd like to thank my piers (all you awesome 3 star people) and I'd like to offer some grudging respect to those that have managed to make it to 4 stars without buying a subscription.

    To the mods, please PM me details of the next star awards ceremony, I'll book a tux and limo as soon as I know the dates.

    So here I go, my mouse is moving slowly to the "Submit New Thread" button, the anticipation is killing me......

    P.S. I should point out that I know that I'm setting myself up for a mega fail if the aforementioned third star does not actually arrive after this 500th post, assuming of course that this is actually my 500th post:D

    Edit: It worked! I just turned the lights off here to save electricity, my own 3 star smug glow is now lighting the house. Now, by my calculations, keeping up the 0.17 posts a day, I'll have 4 stars in 153 years...
