Problem With Numark Omnicontroller and Traktor

I have had my Numark OmniController working with Traktor on my laptop but I reckon one day I may have changed a setting or something un knownst to myself and it won't work now. As in once it is connected upto my laptop, the controller doesn't light up as it used to?

When I go into Traktor, into Preferences, audio set-up, then audio devices, my Omnicontroller doesn't come up as an option?

I have tried Re installing Traktor aswell as the driver for the controller but to no avail. I am presuming its just a setting on Traktor although I'm probably wrong.

If anybody can pleeease help me out as this is driving me nuts not being able to use it!

Do you get the "dun dun" sound when you connect it?

Oh sorry yeah forgot to mention that, I get that sound when I connect it and the other sound when I disconnect it.

Plus when I have the controller plugged in while a track is playing on Traktor and I have my speakers connected upt my controller it'll play the music out through the controller and onto the speakers?

I dont use Traktor myself, but it sounds like its just demapped. If you import the mapping file(.tsi) for the omni it may do it.

Aye, same thing happened to me, just re-import your tsi file and it'll work

Click on the settings tab at the top, then click on the big import button down the bottom left, and the locate the tsi file where ever it may be on your computer, and you're done!
