It's brilliant!! Is it true it's finally getting a cinema release over here soon? It's been knocking around for the best part of two years now i think.

Yeah I saw this a while ago, it's better than most of the "comedies" released these days, Michael Jai White is great in it.

"Who the hell is interuptin' my Kung Fu?!"

Also I could have sworn there was a thread in Films for it already but search resulted only this thread.
    Found it!

I've known about this film for a while but haven't gotten around to seeing it yet. From what I hear and have seen bits of it looks like one of the better spoofs of recent............hell, what am I saying...........I mean, in goddamn years!

I love my spoof movies of yore so I'm gonna give this a crack whenever I get the chance. I haven't seen a proper comedy in years.

Yeah have heard about this film for years, might head to see it during the week. Always have to wonder how films like this get stuck in release limbo for so long.

Go see it man, I'd love the chance to see it in the cinema, probably the best comedy/spoof you'll have seen in a long time. I think it's one of those people will be quoting at eachother for years if it catches on en masse. Michael Jai White wrote most of it too, apparently kicking people in the face ain't his only talent :)

saw this first at the Horrothon a few years back. Don't ask me why it was shown there but I had been following it for ages before i saw it then and I really had a blast with it. Sooo funny. I've seen it a number of times since and it gets better with each view.

Anaconda Malt Liquor. Haha. Great stuff

Trying to spot all the little intentional screwups is fun, like when BD is talking to the Mother of the hookers, she has a tear rolling down her cheek in every alternating shot! :D

Have watched this a few times, its a great film, one of the best comedies in years. The intentional screw ups are great *bounces head off boom mic*

Enjoyed this - wasn't on the floor laughing or anything, but was chuckling throughout. Very accurate stylistic pastiche, as said the intentional screw ups were very funny. Loved how ludicrous the story got as it progressed, from
Kung Fu Island to a final fight against Nixon himself
. Few laughs from the 'literal' soundtrack, the character who speaks in rhymes, the random fight scenes ("Kung Fu treachery!") etc... As I said, enjoyable viewing, and nice to see a genuine parody these days as opposed to the recent pop-culture reference laden wasteland populated by the post-Scary Movie crowd.

It wasn't as funny as "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka", but it was still pretty damn funny.

Saw this on Sunday in the Screen, very highly recommended.

Just noticed today that "Black Dynamite" is showing in the Screen in D'olier St.

I reckon this is one of the funniest films of the last few years so catch it if you get a chance !

Great tribute/parody of the Exploitation age, loved it.

It's still on? Thought it was only for one week, saw it last wednesday. Brilliantly funny.

I thought it was a bit hit and miss but still a good laugh all the same, "you need to shut the **** up when grown folks is talkin" is one of the funniest lines i've heard delivered in a long time.

Watched this on Saturday, was kind of hit and miss alright. The premise has comedy gold written all over it, but a lot of the dialogue let it down, 'you dig'! It seemed like it was trying a little too hard to be funny.

All in all, I did enjoy the show, but not as much as I was hoping

This is one of those movies where the level of hype spoils it.
It's funny, but I hoped for a lot more from the premise and talent involved.

I think the hype really will spoil ths film,I saw it about a year ago and enjoyed it but I know a few people who have seen it in the last week or two on the back of reviews and word of mouth and have been disappointed because its been hyped way beyond its level.

Thought this was a dissapointing film for me. The odd funny scene here and there but overall there were more un-funny scenes than anything else. I wouldn't recomend watching it.
