This is the kind of playlist that would make people want to put their head through the speakers.

    It's godawful.

It's the type of stuff Beezlebub would have on loop in the lift down to the basement.

Hard not to not dance to them! Like the songs and rhythmic beats that goes with it! I dance to the beat! :p Not much into the dance stuff any more! More rock n roll stuff and 80s tunes!:o

    You can't beat ACDC.
    You just can't.

    I dance to the beat!

    Then!

    I suggest!

    You buy a metronome!

Taste is subjective, but your list is 90% pop pap IMO

I know but to dance to its mostly pop stuff but I generally perfer rock n roll music overall not so much heavy metal (does my head in)

I've far worse on my IPOD than that, that would make me even cringe...:o

Yeah but most of the rock stuff you listed are generally regarded as 'floor fillers' at nightclubs or weddings & are played a good bit on the radio.

Did you pick them because you like the song & are used to hearing it or do you listen to their albums & lesser known songs?

I've the albums to some of them, and really like a lot of those songs but more likely to listen to them when out on the dance floor.

Not much into the dance stuff any more!

    Everyone dances to the beat...

You're just listening to the wrong sort of dance stuff tbh...
How the hell anyone can dance to guns n roses or Bryan Adams completely escpaes me...stand on the dancefloor roaring their drunken head off whilst trying to impress a member of the opposite sex? Yes....dance? No.

Whilst musical tastes are subjective and not open to debate....the "dancebility" of any given track should be obvious from the opening bars or at least the breakdown. With the exception of perhaps Billy Jean,(and I'm not an MJ fan) and the ABBA tracks your list fails in terms of dancebility, although it wins for the idiots people that think dancing = air guitar and miming choruses...

Your taste is your taste....don't let anyone dictate to you what it should be; you like what you like. My comment was that the tracks themselves aren't really that danceable (which could be due to my taste in part) in terms of BPM and structure.
Alcohol can definitely help in that regard!

I won't bore you (or embarass myself) with lists of obscure 90's dance tracks.
    Oh okay then:

Yes I have sh*t taste in music too :D

this thread is about songs that are good to dance to , not nessceserilly songs that are particulary good so lets not judge them in that way

    stevie wonder = superstitious
rhianna = please dont stop the music
lady gagga = just dance - poker face
prodigy = no good start the dance
    madonna = into the groove
michael jackson = dont stop till you get enough
bee jees = stayin alive or anything from saturday night fever
the trammps = disco inferno - see above
dee lite = groove is in the heart
    los del rio = macerana
kylie minogue = better the devil you know = extremley gay i know
