    Gardai smash immigration scam
Illegals destroy papers and pose as minors to be taken into HSE care.

The scam involves illegals being put on flights into the country without any documentation. When they are stopped on arrival here, they claim to be minors and are put into the care of the HSE. They later disappear from the HSE hostels after lodging claims for asylum.

There should be a stronger policy brought in and fines for these people or for their countries for allowing this carry on.
I dont believe they dont know and should be checking on their end for people trying this?

So do you similarly think that Ireland should be fined for all of our illegal emigrants in the U.S. ?

At Least the majority of our emigrants in the U.S. work and pay their own way..

Look at the whole craic happening up on Mosney last week, If you're Illeagal in a country and are being cared for by the state, Then you should do what you're told...If you don't like it...Leave...

Well, it's good to see the Gardai doing their jobs.
An investigation is under way after undertakers found a golf ball lodged in the throat of a deceased Irish businessman.

Funeral home staff made the shocking discovery as they prepared the man's body for burial recently. Unusually, the object had not been discovered during the course of a post-mortem. The businessman, believed to be from south Dublin, has not been named.

The ball may have been forced down the man's throat, but it is understood that gardai have ruled out foul play.

Edit: Very sorry for the off topic post. Anyway, do we really need another immigrant bashing thread on the forum? Maybe we can get a sticky and people can just post in there whenever they feel the need to vent?

1, what makes you think the majority of immigrants to Ireland do not pay their own way?

2, The Mosney thing is for asylum seekers - not immigrants. Their status is "being determined", so not illegal.

    - Legitimate asylum seekers should be allowed stay (although there shouldn't be many because there are lots of countries between Ireland and the source of many asylum seekers)
    - Legal migrants who want to come here to work should apply through official channels. If their skills are needed they should be allowed stay and contribute.
    - Illegal immigrants should be deported. That also applies to our lot abroad who we seem to see as cheeky scamps when in effect they're scamming the system.

This isnt a immigrant bashing thread,It is blame on a country that is allowing it go on and about traffickers that have the system at every corner, also for the criminals which these people are pretending to be minors.
And the fact there needs to be new measures taken to stop this.
It is taking the piss out of the country and system there for genuine people.

Hundreds of women come to Ireland each year to marry non-Europeans – with the sole aim of securing visas for their new husbands. They are entering not only a fake marriage but also, often, an underworld of crime and abuse. Social Affairs Correspondent JAMIE SMYTH travels to Latvia to investigate

the u.s. has been mentioned, entry to this country should be the same as for there, if you documentation is not in order, you are on the next plane back to where you came from, end of story i am not bashing any one from any country, race or creed, we as a country are too open, too welcomeing, etc, etc, for many of these people that come in the first, second and third card that they play is the race card, look at any airport, people leaving buggys etc behind them, you mention it, they smile and say the health board will provide another when they return, all our immigrents who are entitled to stay should have the same welfare rates heath car etc are they are intitled to in their own country, they go to court on any trivial charge, who payes whats left of the irish taxpayer, if they had to fund their own law suits, there would not be as may trivial ones, which waste this countrys resources.
