Hello, i got a behringer bcd2000 for very cheap a few days ago, and have been trying to get it to work. The thing is I use traktor pro and windows 7 professional. My vestax vci 100 works fine but ive heard that the behringer bcd2000 drivers need to be installed in xp compatibility mode or something.

So can anyone help me in getting this controller to work with traktor pro and windows 7? Or any other ideas? Does it even work with traktor? I have the original disc with drivers and software too btw. The controller isnt broken though. thanks in advance

First off dont use the disk, get the drivers off the site as they are likely to be a later revision.

Connect your BCD, go into device manager(type it "device manager" into the search bar), right click on the BCD and uninstall it. Now you should right click the driver you downloaded and go into properties. Hit compatibility and select XP SP2 from the dropdown menu. Apply. Then run it[Check the instructions with the controller/disk to see if the BCD should be connected or not while you run the driver installer, sometimes you are prompted to connect usb devices half way].

That should do it I think.

Thanks, but that didnt seem to work for me. Have you got a bcd2000 and has this worked for you?

Any other help? Its really annoying. Does it work with traktor pro do you know also?

Any MIDI controller will work with Traktor Pro. All MIDI controllers are essentially the same thing, they just look different. Do you have anything mapped to it? Download a mapping for it, and if it has the right drivers it should work. If there's nothing mapped it won't do anything when it's connected.
