    Hey guys,

Can anyone tell me if there is a pub in around the city with 1 or 2 dartboards? Myself and a few lads ( around 14 lads ) are heading up in a couple of weeks on a Tuesday night and wanted to run our own competition which would mean taking over the board for a few hours.

    Cheers!

Cullinanes (I think it's called), on the corner beside the gpo is a darts pub. Nice open area for it too where ye would have a bit of comfort.

The Western bar have a dart board possible two. Also have a room at the back which you may be able to book out for the night and they should be able to set up boards for ya as they have ran competitions there.

Fox's and Mixers used to have dart boards but I haven't been into either place in years so I don't know if they still do.

    +1 on Fibber Magees

They will reserve the upstairs if ye ring im sure and there is a pool table up there for whoever gets knocked out early!
Also, very nice bar food being served in there at good prices.

If you are going to be coming up on a Tuesday you will more than likely be out of luck with getting a dart board to yourself as that is the dart night for the league in Galway.

I know the league has not started yet but teams will be getting back together over the next couple of weeks to practice.

All of the pubs mentioned above by the other posters are active league pubs afaik too and there aren't any others in the city that I can think of that would be too accommodating.
