    Sunday, September 19th., 2010.
    Check-in 11.00am.
    Starting at 12noon.
    Closing date for entries - September 15th.
    Prize Fund - €1,000 {€400 for winner}
    Entry fee - €15.

    Connie Finnan defeated Pat O'Connor 6 - 0 in the final.

    Was talking to Tony Hickey last night and he said NEVER AGAIN !

    Somebody got the bright idea of organising a Round Robin with the 48 players entered divided into groups and it went on for more than 9 hours !

    Dear God Almighty ... :eek::eek: The amount of rounds and games that must have taken doesn't even bear thinking about. 9 hours of torture I'd say ... a case of last man standing and Connie's durability won out. Well done :)

    tell me about it. played in it myself. i checked in a 12 and didnt play my first match til after 5.disaster.then i ended up playin 3 matches in space of an hourhard to keep sober. got thru to knockout stages but then got beaten in first knockout match.didnt get to play connie thank god.
