Dear God Almighty ... :eek::eek: The amount of rounds and games that must have taken doesn't even bear thinking about. 9 hours of torture I'd say ... a case of last man standing and Connie's durability won out. Well doneConnie Finnan defeated Pat O'Connor 6 - 0 in the final.
Was talking to Tony Hickey last night and he said NEVER AGAIN !
Somebody got the bright idea of organising a Round Robin with the 48 players entered divided into groups and it went on for more than 9 hours !
