Hey, just looking for a little advice here please.
Met a person online and went on one date with them. We got on well but I just don't feel we got on well enough to date. I think the perspn is really nice just not for me.
I don't waant to come across as a sh*t so am just looking for advice on what to say to them to say 'yeah you're lovely but just not for me', in a nice way?

Many thanks for your help with this.

Its best to be polite but firm :)
    Just say what sunflower said.

But the important thing is let them know where they stand. Too many people give excuses and let the other person fill in the blanks. "Im busy", "No money this week" etc etc.
I think it stems from not wanting to be "the bad guy" - which is stupid when you think about it. If you dont like someone, let them know. Doesnt make someone a bad person :)
But by fobbing them off your not exactly letting them know that they are wasting their time. Which in turn kinda makes you a bad guy :P

"Thank you for a interesting evening but the chemistry wasn't right for me. Good luck with your search" used to be my stock reply....until I no longer needed it :D

I would say the same except I would say lovely instead of interesting.

From a lads perspective (if you're a girl ;)) please do not say "lets just be friends". If you're not interested in a romantic relationship fine, end it and make sure you've made it clear you're just not interested but don't try to form some sort of friendship out of it, it only leads to trouble for both sides :).

Ha, was going to post the same, 'interesting' sounds like a field study.
