Hi everyone, I don't have a home phone line and want broadband. I don't want to pay line rental or deal with UPC/NTL as have had bad experience with them and prefer Sky TV anyway. I believe Imagine have set up a new mast/router (?) around the Baldoyle area, which I can access from Raheny/Kilbarrack area. I was wondering has anyone used wimax yet and what it's like? I'd be particularly interested to hear from anyone around North East Dublin who has recently signed up to wimax and is accessing the internet from this Baldoyle mast. I'm not a techie BTW, Cheers

The mobile wimax muck from Imagine is a midband technology not a broadband technology.

The only broadband fixed wimax in North Dublin is the Irishbroadband service.

    You mean Breezemax?
    IrishBroadband is Imagine.
