Can i shorten the barrel on my tikka t3 .223
    Its a lite 1;8 twist,

Don't target shoot just vermin and would be alot easier to to get around if i could take a few inch's off it?

    Any advice welcome,
    Thanks.

Yes you can, the amount you can chop off depends on the Orig length though, i would not go lower than 20" without a mod

Speak to John Lambert [RFD] in Camolin. He is very fond of short barrels.
I think you will lose about 100fps per inch off the barrel however.

If you are in Meath there is a fella in your neighboring county (Westmeath) that can do all the work on your rifle that you require.
