    How ya doing lads?

might sound like a stupid question but how really free is the Mobile Internet from Vodafone that you get when you top up by 30€?

I am thinking of getting the Sky Mobile TV app which will, I am assuming, use a lot of bandwidth. Is there a daily limit to that 'free offer' or is it really unlimited up and down?

    Cheers !

    From the vodafone website:

A fair usage policy of 250mb per 30 day period applies for mobile internet usage, then standard rates apply.

I have my iPhone signed up to the 360 service.

    http://www.vodafone.ie/vlive/internetmobile#prepay

Its 39c for 100mb of data daily... Suits me lovely!! Top up with 20 euro every month to keep it going...

    So all I spend is €20 a month :)

Not sure how much data the Sky Mobile TV app uses but I would say its a data hungry one!!

I THINK you could order a bill pay internet dongle form vodafone and use the simcard . It costs e25 a month for unlimited download .( The only nuisance is you'll have to switch sims when watching . I'm not sure if its a 12 or 18 month contract .
As I say I think this is the case - investigate before ordering !

So is it the one called Vodafone 360 Pay as you Go bundle?

If so, it says that the offer is available until the 30th of sept 2010.

Does that mean that I get until the 30th of sept to sign up or that this service will be over on the 3th of sept?

You sign up to the 360 service and it puts you on the 360 rate for data (39c per day for 100mb). It then takes the 39c off your credit if and when you use 3g data...

Its says it expires end of month which is correct; I would imagine they will continue this offer or change the offer slightly... Will have to wait and see
