Silvia portafilter needed (loaner)

    Hi,

    Bit of a long shot but..

    I've recently acquired a new Silvia and was hoping manually adjust the pressure(and by that I mean I was going to get RE*AC*TOR to do it). The only problem is that I can't get the spouts off the portafilter in order to attach the pressure gauge..

    so, does anyone in or around Dublin have a Silvia portafilter (with detatchable spout) that I might be able to borrow for a few hours?

    I have a Silvia PF that I removed the spout on.
    It's was difficult to do but I got it off.

    I have exactly the same problem! I have GRINDER*MAN's pressure gauge which he kindly lent me but haven't been able to get the spouts off the portafilter.

    donnacha i know your next on the guage - sorry for the delay man. Any chance I could borrow the PF after BeautifulLoser and send the gauge your way?

    sure - beautiful loser is going to borrow it friday night for the weekend. once i have it back I'll let you know.

    Tried the old cloth and hammer, pliars, vice grips, vices (much to the disgust of my wife who given it to me as a birthday present moments before..) but all to no avail..
