I use wax and a bit of hairspray myself. I prefer a kinda dry, natural look so I never want to use too much wax or gel, obv the problem is the more product you use the less natural it looks. So I just use a bit of product and then use a bit of hairspray and it doesn't move for the rest of the day. Surprised more people don't do it too

Bumble and Bumble's Sumo Wax.

It is expensive but your hair stays in place, you should be able to get it at any Peter Mark store.
