1.9tdi 130bhp pd engine 112k on the clock.
When starting the car, it idles terribly, sounding like a truck. Actually got a vag-com to it and it read a fault on injector one. Same problem had happened before, and i replaced all the injectors a few months ago.
If I let the car heat up to middle of the temperature gauge either through driving or leaving it running, if I then restart, car runs great again.

Any ideas? Mechanic is going to check it on saturday. Posted on vagdrivers but got no response.
    Thanks!

I think the wiring loom can give bother on them passats. Not the full loom, but just the part on the head.

bing bing, we have a winner!

Dropped it into mechanic yesterday for him to test the injectors by swapping one to the other, see if the fault moved along with it, and he found that the connection was loose! He said was 2 thin wires that go in, and need a twist to secure. They were in but not twisted.
Car is now no longer like tractor!
