Our area has just been upgraded so were looking to get broadband & digital from UPC into the house.

I want to get Sky Sports, my housemate has only a minor interest in it for the Heineken Cup.

However, i will most likely be moving out early next year, or summer at the latest. If he wants to cancel Sky Sports then when im gone, will there be a fee or anything? I presume there is no contracted period when signing up to sky sports either, so he wont be stuck with it?

They charge a downgrade charge when you want to remove a pack like Sky Sports. I cant remember what it is; something like €15 or €20 I think. As far as I know you can add it and remove it as often as you like.
