    Hi lads,

Anyone know a decent place that will do an oil change on an E39 BMW?
I tried cabinteely motors but they don't do BMWs!
    Thanks!

To preface, I don't drive a BMW so am no expert on why an oil change on one would be any different to any other car.

There's a guy up near Baker's Corner that I used in the past to service a VW, my mother uses the guy in Cabinteely village opposite The Horse & Hound to service her Toyota.

There's an Advance Pitstop a mile down the road in Loughlinstown, no personal experience.

Or if you are a stickler for a dealer then try Maxwell's in Blackrock.

    Joe Duffy Motors, Rochestown Avenue

does BMW service, though is a main dealer so more expensive

From a personal point of view I would not go near Advance in Loughlinstown.

Thanks for the replies. I've no idea why a BMW is any different for an oil change, thought it was a bit strange.
I'd like to avoid main dealers if possible, it's a small job so a local place would be perfect.
    Anyone ever use CE Motors?

How strange, they must be quite busy if they are refusing work.

Odd, I change my E36 myself with no issues.
It's pretty straightforward and any mechanic should be able to do it for you.
