Strange Question regarding Payment of Iphone 4!

    Ive a strange question here folks..

    Its my birthday in 3 weeks and i want a Iphone 4..Never had one before, so i really want one..So it takes 3 weeks to get, which would mean it would be here on the day of my birthday or the next day if i order today or tomorrow which would be cool..

    Now heres the little problem..Ive been reading through all the threads on it here, and some people say Apple take the money off them they minute they order, and some said Apple take the money off them A day or so AFTER the Iphone has ARRIVED..

    Can people confirm when they take the money off your card..Ive got a Mastercard Credit card, or i could Use my Visa debit card..I dont have all the money at this moment but by the 21st of sept the day of my Birthday id certaintly have it..

    Please folks can you get back to me asap as i want to order it tonight...Im like a child:D

    If you order by a debit card (Laser), it's deducted immediately.
    If you order by a credit card (Visa or Mastercard), it's deducted on shipping. As a Visa Debit is processed like a credit card, I think it falls under the deducted on shipping too.

    However:

    You must have enough money in your account at the time of ordering. Although they don't deduct the money from your credit card immediately, the authorisation will normally check you have sufficient funds on the card and puts a hold on those funds. If you try ordering, but didn't have enough money in your account, in all likelihood the order would be rejected.

    I odered with Laser and they have not taken the money yet! I ordered on 19th Aug, supposed to have the phone on 13th Sept!

    I wasn't too sure when they would take the cash so I made sure I had the €700 for the Iphone in my account when I ordered!

    I ordered 18th aug by laser and the money was taken out of my account before being put back into my a/c a few days later.
    I rang Apple and was told that I'd be invoiced proper when the phone ships.I think its just to check that I have the money,debit card checks etc.
