i love the one with the f18 and the skyhawk. typical american's lets see how close i can get to the plane dropping the bomb. it served no purpose only to make me laugh. :D and all the clips hapen to be american. another clip that shows typical outlandish flying at the cost of human life is this one the followchopper pilot attempted to cross blades with the lead with desastourous results.

SNAKEDOC, far from being typically American or outlandish. It simply demonstrates the risks of test flying. Which is what's happening there. A lot of time and effort is put into testing the deployment of munitions. Sometimes it goes wrong as seen here.

As for the helicopter clip, that happened in Kuwait. I understand one pilot actually survived. He was British as it happened.

I heard it was Israel...and all crew lost. The A4 pilot was killed during the above flight test too. As you say...very risky business.

I believe the A4 pilot survived and I think the pilot of the white Puma did as well. Notice they splashed down. But it was some time ago. So am open to correction. Whatever it was horrific.

experimental flight testing munitions is risky which is why i think flying in such close formation while testing is a bit weird. that was in the late 80's i think now a days these lessons have been learned and a restriction zone is around the test aircraft to prevent these mishaps. also about the helicopter accident if anybody survived thats amazing they did from such an horific accident. again i think its strange that inside a coalation area kuwait as you say why fly so close whe there is no need. complete waste of life

That helicopter crash was a long time ago, 1992 or thereabouts and is obviously either at an airshow or a flypast of some sort. Hence the close formation. Nothing to do with recent events.
