    Dunnes are selling 1 litre bottles of Smirnoff Vodka for €20, quota of 2 per customer, not sure if it is being enforced or not :D

    thats a litre not a 700ml THATS UNREAL VALUE!!! Works out at around 13.99 a 700ml!! They're usually 25-26 euro and off licences charge around 30!

    Just looked at a vodka bottle at the house, 1L. Would have thought €20 is pricey for that, granted I dont buy all that much spirits.....I know i've bought same in NI for about equivalent of €15

    £19.48 in sainsburys which is €23.56..

    Then allow for fuel, food etc and The Republic of Ireland is much cheaper... Granted if you live 10 miles from the border its not a huge saving but a saving none the less... And for those of us living down in Cork & Tipp it's a great deal!

    Its up on their website today, offer runs until next week and is nationwide. Also selling 700ml of Jameson for €20 and 700ml bottle of Bacardi for €16.

    Got me a couple of bottles this morning, thanks for the heads up. They had loads on stock in the old Dunnes in Portlaosie at 12pm. mmmmnnnnnn, now where's me stomach pump!
