Lost UPC analogue after getting in BB

Moved into a new apartment recently and there was a UPC box on the wall, so i plugged in a standard cable and low and behold I was getting a fewe of the analogue channels, so i thought great no need for the rabbit ears

Then today I was getting broadband installed and the engineer changed the box in the wall and used the connection for the broadband which meant I lost the basic channels. I then went to BnQ and got an aerial cable with the converter (the one you screw in) to see if i could still get those channels and no luck.

I suppose there's no way of getting them back? They were handy out

Yes of course there is. Contact UPC and tell them you want to subscribe to their TV service.

add digital tv value at €20.75 per month and your broadband will reduce in price by €7.75 per month as you will now be a tv and bb subscriber:)

Bah!!! Buy another lead and a splitter, and you have the channels back.

Already done......was being politically correct! Sure the analogue will be dying out in the next few months anyway so I'm hardly screwing the system

People who do not get tv have to pay a standalone charge on top or their broadband of 7.75 per month.

UPC can not block the analog tv on the line so the 7.75 charge is really for watching tv the sneaky way.;)

I unplugged the tv today to use the Internet and for some reason the Internet wouldn't work.....then I plugged the Tv in again and that doesn't work now either...... Any ideas?
