    The Failte Fest for freshers on the Sunday looks like its gunna be great fun again this year, saw the booklet today and theres even more stuff than last year...lucky first years!

    The prizes are niiiiiiiiice. First is a Notebook, 2nd is gym membership (worth €250). Theres a few dinner vouchers for hotels, theres a €150 put onto your SU card prize, 15 free coffees, free dinners, stuff like that. About 20 prizes.
    Can non-first years enter? :(

    Didnt go to be honest, hope there wasnt 2 much mingling without me or ill be friendless :( the timetable look way 2 boring :rolleyes: so didnt go, how was it?

    ya it was ok. some of it was helpful and also was good to get ur bearings on the college campus.

    im hoping to meet other "young" mature students myself. dont wanna be stuck with the super young uns' or the other end of the spectrum either lol!

    haha gud stuff, i get what your sayin, what was the age group like at that thing??

    Cant wait 2 start nervous enough, wouldnt be the best at mingling though unless theres a few drinks involved! :D movin down on fri.

    the age range was from 23 up to 60's!! i found it hard to meet ppl my own or around my own age tho. not many of them there. There will be plenty of opportunities to meet ppl at orientation hopefully!!! :):):) what societies u thinkin of joinin
