when I boot up cydia on my ipod touch there is a not on top saying "this device has SHSSs on file for iphone os/ios 3.1.2 4.0 4.0.2" what does it mean? I did have a jailbroken iphone 4 but was forced to update after it bricked

means your ipod touch can be downgraded and jailbroken as needed.

thanks dude but it says "iphone" can I take file from it and downgrade that too?
