Syncing without Erasing

I'm a bit baffled as to how I just copy a single tune onto my iPhone. There seems to be no simple way to drag and drop tunes. If I go into the "Summary" tab and click "Manually manage music and videos", I then get a message saying it wants to erase my phone as it's synced with my home machine. Any advice? P.

I think if you click on manually manage your music when plugged into your home machine it will allow you to add songs on from on other computers.
