hi, hope someone can help me. i got 4 wisdom teeth out nearly 3 weeks ago. I am still in severe pain on my right hand side (I think the bottom but it seems to spread)
anyway I got it looked at again today and it was covered in clovey stuff. I am still in pain, woke up an hour ago in severe pain (it's 4am). Think it may have slipped out or something as it doesnt taste strong anymore or look like it's there,
researching online a lot of ppl recommend using "Red Cross Tooth ache remedy" but I assukme this is only available in America, ppl also say use clove oil (which is in this). how do I use this clove oil if it's a good idea?
am afraid I cant but this/these, it will be sore to use /might make it worse etc. I have been to my surgeon twice now three four times including surhery and consultation before surgery. I have been to my doctor twice who insisted the surgeon see me today.
can anyone even give me an idea is this nomral to be this sore this far long after. anyone know how long it takes for this dressing to kick in? it did help the pain earlier but seems to be gone now. I feel silly now but I am def not imaging this pain or making it out to be worse than it is. I am not due to meet surgeon again until Friday but I cant cope. please help. I was told I would sleep great tonight after the tretament and was looking forward to it but alas this has not happened. apologies for bad typing/ grammar spelling but pain really messing with me

sounds like the surgeon was going to change the dressing every few days. There is nothing wrong with having it changed every day for the next few days if necessary.

seems like a very bad dry socket/osteomyelitis. Can be unpleasant. Don't be afraid to bother the dentist a little more often till it heals. He won't mind.

if you smoke, try not to. frequent rinsing with hot salt water will help also.

take pain killers. maybe get antibiotics if dentist agrees, and wait it out! it will heal eventually....
