    Go to this crowd: http://www.lake-balls.co.uk/shopping/default.htm

I was in the same position as you exactly a year ago. Bought 100 balls from them last year - they arrived very quickly and were just what I needed starting out, i.e. perfectly playable but cheap enough that I could concentrate on my golf without worrying about losing too many.

Argos do a bag of 50 lake balls for €22.50. Not the worst deal in the world

Pretty good price but are they reconditioned balls? Does anyone know if they are much worse than a normal lake/second hand ball? Need to invest in a few myself so might try get a 100 off that tk website unless anyone thinks those Argos ones are ok?

In any low grade lake ball pack you will get loads of refurbished / reconditions balls.
Buy only Pearl/Grade A to ensure not getting them

I have bought from numerous sources. I bought from that tk site before, and ya they were pretty good.

My most recent purchase was with acegolfballs on Ebay. Excellent before and after service.

He will also change features about the order etc if you email him. e.g. I ordered 100 Z-star/Z-starX mix from him, but I only wanted Z-Star... he happily obliged to ensure that all 100 were Z-Star.

Take a lesson from a P.G.A. qualified golf professional. He'll improve your driving & then you'll be able to play with a decent golf ball. Life is very simple, really!
Golf balls that have been sitting at the bottom of a lake are definitely not the answer to hitting straight golf shots.

if your not a "PGA qualified golf pro" you should climb out of the back passage of whichever ones that your up and stop spamming up these threads with that crap
