    Hi Guys,

I got a new employment contract from my employers that says about hours of work. ' you may be required to work overtime depending on the requirement of your work and at the discretion of management. where possible you will be notifiied in advance. you shall not be entitle to receive any addtional remuneration for work outside normal working hours.'

i am not confortable with this clause specially no pay or benefit for overtime. what do you think ? what are my option if i do not want to sign this contract?

thanks in advance for your advice.

pretty standard for a salary contract.

I've never had a contract based on an annual salary as opposed to an hourly rate that didn't have that clause in it tbh.

If you already have an hourly contract and they are "moving the goalposts" you don't have to sign it of course, but it could have implications for you with that company.

Is your current contract based on an hourly wage or an annual salary?
Do you currently get paid overtime?
How much overtime would you do at the moment?
