Has anyone been in this situation?

I'm starting a distance learning course with ATI, for 2 years. However its going to cost me an arm and a leg. So much so that I still havn't registered as I don't want to run into financial trouble during the year and have to give up the course. I have paid for previous courses over the last 2 years as apparently I wasn't elligible for VTOS scheme, and these were Fetac courses.

Can anyone tell me what I can do this year to help with the financial burden - Im skeptical about the back to education allowance, as to whether I 'd be better off sticking to what I have, as having done the maths, I can't afford to work fulltime because it wouldn't cover the cost of childcare, Rent and bills!

    Thanks for advice.:(
